The “Privacy Policy” sets out the policies and procedures which Post code connect (“we” or “us”) has put in place to protect the privacy of our users.

 

1. What information does Postcode connect collect and how is it used?

 

1.1. We collect and store the information that you provide to us when you first become a Postcode connect user – that is, your name, email address and postcode. 

 

The main reason to collect your email address is to make it easy for you to use Postcode connect. We also use this information to keep in contact with you, to provide information about Postcode connect (including our products and offers that we make available from time to time) and seek your feedback. We may in the future use it to provide you with information about any future partners and the various services they may offer, or create anonymous and/or de-identified data records from your personal information by excluding information (such as your name) that make the data personally identifiable to you.

 

At any time, you can ask us to amend or delete the information you have provided to us.

We may also share aggregated or de-identified information.

 

3. What do you do in relation to payment data?

 

We do not collect payment details. 

 

4. What do you do to keep personal data secure?

 

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff maybe engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. We may retain your data after the termination of your profile. If you would like us to delete your data, please contact us. 
Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone. 

 

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure.
